Health Guarantee
Puppies purchased from Breeders in California .
House Of Pomeranian Whelp be has puppies for sale in CA, as well as from other states across the country. All puppies purchased through House Of Pomeranian Whelp are covered with at least a 30-day health guarantee by the Dog Breeder. If you have questions about what is covered, please view the Law associated with your state.
Within ten days of purchasing your new puppy, you must take him/her to a licensed veterinarian for an examination. If the veterinarian determines, within ten days of purchase, that your dog is clinically ill or has died from an injury sustained or illness likely to have been contracted on or before the date of sale and delivery, you have the following options:
Return the dog for a complete refund Return the dog for a replacement dog of equal value Retain the dog and receive reimbursement for reasonable veterinary fees, not exceeding the purchase price .These options do not apply where a seller, who has provided a health certificate issued by a veterinarian, discloses in writing at the time of sale the health problem for which the buyer later seeks to return the dog.
If within 30 days of purchase, a licensed veterinarian determines that your dog has a congenital or hereditary defect which adversely affects the animal’s health or that your dog died from a congenital or hereditary defect, you have the same option as outlined above.
You must notify the seller of the examining veterinarian’s name, address & phone number within two days of the vet’s certification of your dog’s illness. Failure to notify the seller within two business days will result in forfeiture of rights. Each state has different laws related to the sale of a puppy; please educate yourself on the laws in the state which you purchase your puppy.
Puppies Purchased in other States
Each state in the U.S. has different guidelines in regards to guaranteed health for sold puppies. For states that do not have a mandatory health guarantee in place, our shop is expected to cover the health of the puppies for at least 30 days. In the event that a state guideline is in place offering a guarantee longer than 30 days, that law holds precedence.
*Some breeders offer extended guarantees on their puppies. It is not legal for a breeder to offer a health guarantee that is not at least equal to state law. For a more detailed description of extended genetic health guarantees, read below.
Extended Genetic Health Guarantees (when offered)
An additional guarantee specifically covering any disease or illness that is proven to be of a genetic origin through proper veterinary examination and testing .These guarantees do not cover normal veterinary costs incurred while providing general care for the puppy. Proper documentation must be provided to the breeder before any compensation being paid .This guarantee does not cover any costs incurred related to injuries caused by owner negligence or accidental injury

I should have written a review before now. My husband came across House Of Pomeranian Whelp four years ago. It started when my Pomeranian named Bosco whom we loved dearly. He was not from House Of Pomeranian Whelp . My little guy got sick very quickly and passed away before his eighth birthday. I was devastated and couldn’t stop crying. His brother Buddy who was seven at the time grew up with Bosco. Buddy was so sad without his best friend. Three months later my husband said we were getting another Pomeranian. I contacted House Of Pomeranian Whelp and I did question if I wanted it, I talked JAMES BOURGELAT who sounded so nice and down to earth. I had already seen Sammy’s face and fell in love with him. Sammy came to me during a snow storm in December two weeks before Christmas. I was in love. Sammy is smart, funny, a beautiful Pomeranian and at four years old he’s healthy. He gave Buddy a new leash on life and they became best friends .We moved from NH to FL where our dogs enjoy being outside all the time and walks. Buddy was getting older and we didn’t want Sammy to be alone if something happened to Buddy. We did try to adopt but with Covid it just didn’t seem to happen. We knew we wanted another Pomeranian baby to love. One day I had called JAMES BOURGELAT and it was meant to be. A cutie was just born. We told him that we wanted one and we got first choice because he appreciated repeat business. We spoke several times and finally the first week of August 2021 we made the trip to CA from FL to pick up our puppy. We named him Tucker. We finally met the person that we have communicated with. It was beautiful driving through, I wish we had more time to visit and chat with such a nice man. Sometimes it happens that puppies have giardia. My vets said it’s common and was not worried. He was treated and is fine. JAMES constantly made me understand in case there is any form of complications during the health guarantee period I'll be reimburse provided I don't to have another Pomeranian from them.
He said he appreciated us traveling a long way We always knew Sammy would be fine with another Pomeranian but the fact they are brothers (same parents) makes their relationship more special. Sammy and Tucker are inseparable. It’s so much fun watching Sammy and Tucker romp, wrestle and play together. Tucker is healthy and very loved. Buddy looks at his younger brother with protective. We are so happy that we went trough House Of Pomeranian Whelp .

We got “Lili” from JAMES about 3 weeks ago. Annie (as we now call her) was already crate trained for bedtime and now hangs out in there and sleeps right through the night at 12 weeks old. He is super sweet and wonderful with everyone he meets. So glad we found House Of Pomeranian Whelp.

Most breeders have a photographer from House Of Pomeranian Whelp who sees their puppies personally and looks for red flags about the puppies well being and care. In cases where we are unable to visit the breeder personally, we collect as much background information on the breeder as possible. If it is proven that a breeder is using illegal or inhumane breeding practices, we then disqualify that breeder, thus the reason why we focalize just on a specific breed (Pomeranian) on our website because we personally know and we are constantly in contact with these Breeders .We make an effort to educate our Breeders on breeding standards and the importance of bringing to us only healthy puppies with good genetics .We encourage people to consider adoption if they are experienced and have the means to care for an adopted or rescued dog. For more information on adopting , you can visit a local Shelter or Rescue. We make it well-known to all of our breeders that we stand firmly against the mistreatment of animals and will not tolerate any such practice, we strive to build personal relationships with our clientele.

Every puppy for sale sold here carries a minimum of a 30-day health guarantee provided by the breeder. Each State has their guidelines, and we expect breeders to follow them. We request all breeders keep their puppies up to date on all vaccinations and de-wormer .We recommend that all breeders have their puppies vet checked.
